scanning through albums for mixes that have been brewing inmy head.
jaeysin flexes his mixing genius again tonite, he played me a little bit of something he was putting together. he's got this way of taking good things, putting them together, and making them perfect. a skill i wish i could perfect. but instead i keep making random notes on scraps of paper that just get lost anyway.

the songs float by and they go a little something like this:

pete krebs - patiently
rem - undertow
hayden - the hazards of sitting beneath trees
pj harvey - long snake moan

it gets better, i'm sure.
day dreaming music.
the day dreams have been unreasonably active, lately. i think its my lack of doing. work is back on the agenda, so i've not really had the time to go buy photopaper for class. so no printing. ten shots left on the canon and i'm still hanging on to them. i acted offended today when wayne and nick suggested that i just rewind. two eventful things in class today : handed over a three hundred dollar check to tim and recieved a new toy [digital camera]... i played with it a bit at work and then handed it over to my mother. i'm almost tempted to say i want no part in it, but we'll see. also, i convinced tim to play a little radiohead in the studio. that would have been a pleasant experience if it weren't for all the musically trained folk making bitter, bitter fun of it all. oh well. there's no accounting for taste, i guess.

aluminum tastes like fear.

i've decided to start a tape.
none of this mixtape stuff that i can't just get a handle on.
but a tape of the simpsons. aww yeah. its on at least twice a night, why not take full advantage of it?

"oh margie, you came and you brought me a turkey
on my vacation away from workie.."
