just opened my mailbox, and hiding inside was Random Polaroid Mail Art from sortofkindof. apparently mine have arrived as well. that means that a few of you should have nice things in your mailbox soon. be on the lookout.

i have 7 shots left in the polaroid, i'm ready for the next round. who's down?

when the postmark becomes part of the art....

judging from the response, it seems i need to revise my call for Random Polaroid Mail Art....

i have a couple of polaroid cameras, and i like to take random photos and send them to people. it's more fun if i get something in return. that something in return, obviously, doesn't have to come in the form of a polaroid photo, because not everyone has the resources for that [i work at a drug store & get a discount, blah blah blah] .... so from now on, i'm going to call it Random Polaroid Mail Art, and dammit, you can send me any kind of art you want. sketches, doodles, collages, found photographs [junkstores like urban ore in berkeley have impressive collections], flea market photothings, 3x3 oil paintings, whatever.


'cause i like mail. and i like art.
