hey guys..

I wouldn't normally do this, but my friend Leigh, who Jill and I stayed with in Chicago last year, has brought this to my attention.
Her roommate Rani has two sweet kitties (Tigger and Meiko, who were kind enough to let us share the couches with them in Chicago) one of which has been diagnosed with cancer.

Rani and Leigh will be setting up an auction to help offset the vet bills (expected to total at least $3,000) and are asking folks to help by purchasing items from the auction. Also, folks can choose to donate via paypal, if they wish.

I know that there are many, many worthy causes out there that require our attention right now, but you have a moment and a dime to spare for a sweet, fluffy companion it could make all the difference. I've made a small donation, and I'm going to be donating some items to be sold to benefit Tigger.
