Nov. 4th, 2001 05:52 pmlocal nebraska news:: keep yourself updated.
[i heart lexy. i always have.]
so anyway. what a day. so far. and it only gets better form here.
woke up bright and early this morning after falling asleep reading lolita the night before, and being awoken by my phone taking a message. i decided to turn in early [11 pm] figuring that between painting and reading i'd had a pretty productive evening. got up on a bright sunday morning and did a few things before leaving for berkeley, scott asked me to meet him 10-ish, at his place. i dawdled a little too long, but still made it to berkeley on time. what did i find at 1305 but a half naked scott passed on the living room couch. lovely. [it's a lovely little house- tile in the kitchen just like i like, and half-flights of stairs leading to bedrooms. i love that part of town.] upstairs to freshen up and put on clothes- he'd been up til 4 am reading and the evidence was all still there. books scattered about in a most romantic fashion. he's got a queen-sized bed and the same delicious down comforter that he's got. off to fourth street for coffee and pastries- now i know what alice was talking about when she says "yuppie." spent the afternoon taking in art in lafayette and surrounding ourselves with the "bougies" in walnut creek. excellent boy, excellent sense of humor. excellent way to spend the time. back through the tunnel and on my way home by three, spent some time in the art store before hitting the freeway. frames and evelopes for those eventual letters to sarah. sarah who should be coming up for thanksgiving break. sarah who has been invited to stay at my house and have dinner with my family [but she doesn't know it yet.] sarah who scott got to hear all about with that twinge of something in my voice.
it's been a good day.
in 1/2 an hour or so: i'm off to reel video to hunt down twin peaks, and then to cory & alice's place for movie night. oh yes. sunday nights no longer suck.
