this is neat.
dave and the moldy peaches girl. in the kscr studios. apparently taken by jed. presumably taken with kodak e100vs film. making me wish i had gone to the looking glass today instead of the art store. making me wish i had done something fabulous with my weekend, like driven down to los angeles.

well.

i didn't. but i did do something fabulous last night. last night was david lynch night at jasin's. we watched the premiere of twin peaks, drank rolling rocks and cheerleader beer, chatted and watched mst3k shorts. it was a blast. just jasin tim cory alice and me. and the cat. it was a wonderful way to pass the time, after eleven fabulous hours at work. awoke to a berkeley morning and putzed around until jasin and i decided to hit the art store and go our seperate ways. he, embarking on a weekend of art and writing. i embarking on a weekend of art and well, apparently, writing. i bought paint [metallic black, red, and white] brushes 5x5 canvas map tacks and red and black tape. and razor blades. don't ask. waiting for the mail to come, now. hoping for something nice, like postcard i got yesterday from nikki. but not un-nice, like the letter-to-sarah that came back to me yesterday. sigh. i wonder if she ever got my package.

camera date tonite with scott. i've got shattuck after midnight all figured out. this should be fun.

hiccup.

a solution to the problem in this post, as provided by the lovely and talented [and newly employed :* ] lindsay.

"maybe you should make a point of creating your brother his own shower. put a sprinkler head on the hose, tie it up over a cheap kiddie pool and write 'DAN' all over it."

all my brother is getting for christmas this year is the dancing kung fu hamster.
i've decided.

i just want to make sure you all know about this [see october 26, 2001 @ 12:45 pm.]
i didn't know about it until last week. everyone i mention it to is just as ignorant as i was. can we let our government do this to us? this is not democracy, and this is not freedom.
